Turbulent Passion‏ by G.L. Ross

G.L. Ross is a proud, sixth generation, native Texan. As a true Southern Belle, G.L. has always dreamt of the “happily ever after,” the prince riding in on the white horse sweeping her off her feet. She hasn’t found “Prince Charming” – yet (always an optimist) – but finds him every time she writes about her characters “happily ever after” endings.

Her motto in life is to “always find the good” in every person and situation.

Whether through laughter, prayer, or a glass of wine or vodka, G.L. finds the good in life and shares her sense of humor, love, and adventure in her stories. Take flight with Lance & Lisa in Turbulent Passion, the first book in the Flyboy Trilogy.

Bold, arrogant, and gorgeous are three words which describe the playboy of International Air, Captain Lance Miller. Unbeknownst, to everyone touching Lance’s life, is the fact Lance harbors a secret, a secret which continues to affect his relationship with all women. Love and trust do not exist in Lance’s world, only lust, sex, dominance, and an occasional busty blond.

Naïve, new hire, Flight Attendant, Lisa Price recently graduated from college and is desperately searching for her destiny, a destiny which at this time does not include a man, especially a pilot. Lisa is driven to succeed in all areas of her life, but she too has a secret. A secret she must choose to be embarrassed by or to honorably embrace.

Is it possible these polar opposites will find passion and trust in each other’s arms, enabling them to relinquish control and share their secrets, or is their attraction far too turbulent to pursue?

Discover Lance & Lisa’s secrets in Book One of the Flyboy Trilogy: Turbulent Passion.

Q) What inspired you to write this story?
Initially I wrote this book as a message for women. I want women to know it is okay, actually honorable, to wait for real love rather than lust. Yes, sex is enjoyable, but making love is out of this world. The story evolved into a suspenseful, humorous, love story; a story that is fun to read, a story that causes you to laugh and cry out loud.

Q) How long did it take you to write?
Turbulent Passion evolved four times over two and a half years. The final take actually came to me in a dream, which is why Lance’s story unfolds from his dreams.

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
I love the freedom to feel and say whatever I want. The ability to create my dream men and relationships is fun and invigorating. The opportunity to touch lives with interwoven messages and lessons is humbling. Hopefully, my stories show men what some, not all, women really want in a relationship, but are afraid to say or ask. On the flip side, I hope women discover it is okay to take charge in and out of the bedroom. Writing is empowering. Ladies, it is okay to be a “good girl” in the outside world, and a “bad girl” behind closed doors. Men actually like it that way!

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
Deadlines! Even though I am an indie author I feel I need to meet a scheduled date for my readers. If I tell them a date for a sequel I feel obligated to meet it. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut until the book is finished!

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
If the person doesn’t have to still be living I would say Marilyn Monroe. It would be so fun to be the sexiest woman ever for one day! If the person needs to be alive I would either want to be Oprah or Barbra Streisand. As Oprah I would share my wealth with many foundations and agencies, be very philanthropic. If I were “Babs” I would hold a huge concert and sing my heart out!

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
It would have to be the box of baking soda I put in there to absorb odors. I forget about it and it gets pushed to the back. I think this box may be nine months old. I will add a new box to my grocery list now! Thanks for the reminder.

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
Book two of the Flyboy Trilogy, Burning Desire is tentatively set to release in March. After I complete book two and three of the trilogy, I have two romance books in mind and a teen trilogy I plan to write. I am excited to write for my readers. The messages my readers send me motivate me to be more creative and entertaining. I love the way they describe Captain Lance Miller. One reader said, “I think Lance would do himself if he could. He loves himself and it is hilarious.” I adore the fact they find Lance sexy and entertaining…Mission accomplished!
