Q) What inspired you to write this story?
You ever read a book and even though you enjoyed it, there was just something missing for you? That’s how it was for me. Though I have read many wonderful vampire/shifter books, there was always just something missing. So I was inspired to write the story I’ve always wanted to read.
Q) How long did it take you to write?
I wrote the first three books in three months, editing took a whole lot longer. LOL.
Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
I love seeing the characters come to life. I laugh, cry and blush as I write because I see the entire story play out in my mind sort of like a movie.
Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
Promoting. I think every author would just love to publish a book and instantly have the entire world know about it. But that’s not the case. It’s very hard work and takes a lot of time and dedication. However, it’s worth it when you gain new readers and they fall in love with your novel(s).
Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
I don’t think I’d want to be any other person. I like being D.N. Simmons.
Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
Probably a pack of Skinny Cow cheese… I couldn’t even begin to tell you how old it is. I should really throw it away. Thanks for reminding me. LOL.
Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
The best I have to give and some of the most entertaining and original stories the genre has to offer.
