Lendyn Hughes' grandmother has kept a secret from her for over thirty-one years, who Lendyn's parents are. A devastating break-up following her grandmother's death leaves Lendyn alone, confused and determined to find answers. Armed with only a name Lendyn attempts to unfurl the branches of her family tree never guessing it would put her life in danger.

For over two hundred years Englishman Callum Scott lived a life surrounded by beauty. A life free from all those annoying human emotions. That is until the American showed up. Lendyn flipped his world upside down and put him in the worst sort of jeopardy. He's starting to feel things and a murderer can't afford to feel.

Book Trailer

Q) What inspired you to write this story?
It started with a dream, nope just kidding the story was inspired by my love of vampires and True Blood. Since I was a kid I wondered if vampires were real, what they would be like. What if they were actually aliens from another planet? And thus the At Death It Begins seers was born.

Q) How long did it take you to write?
The first book took three years, the second took about a year and half so I'm hoping the third book will only take a year.

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
My favorite thing about writing is the escape. Getting lost in another world is exciting.

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
The worst thing about writing is laundry. For some reason it never gets done when I'm in writer mode … you know come to think of it neither does the dusting, vacuuming or any cleaning for that matter. And apparently, (according to the hubs at least) you really shouldn't go more than three days without a shower either.

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
I would love to be David Gandy. If I got to be him I'd just stand in front of mirror staring at myself all day. Seriously, how does that man get anything done? He reminds me of a Zoolander quote "Is there anything more important in life than being really, really, good looking?" (PS totally love that movie, if you haven't watched it you should)

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
I couldn't tell you because the mold covering it makes it indiscernible. (Did I mention writer mode?)

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
More love stories with a paranormal twist.
