Aaack! I am driving myself crazy! I have sent out ten queries, and I am impatiently awaiting a reply. I am definitely one of those people who likes instant gratification, and it's hard for me to wait. I keep thinking, maybe if I send out another one, I'll get a response. Has that worked? No. So, to take my mind off the waiting, I've decided to work on a short story. Then, when I'm done with that, I'm going to write a novella. Then, after that, I'm going to work on a fantasy story. Gosh, I really hope I hear something before I get to my fantasy story!
For anyone who is interested, my collection of short stories, After the Apocalypse, is available at Amazon. You can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/After-Apocalypse-Pembroke-Sinclair/dp/0557078547/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1252935897&sr=8-1
Other than that, I've been sending out queries to find an agent for my zombie novel. So far, I've had a bite, but they decided to pass on it. I thought it was pretty cool because they asked to see my manuscript hours--HOURS!--after I sent the query. It gives me hope that someone out there will like it!
