Sensitives by C. Evenfall‏

C. Evenfall grew up in a small fishing village in Eastern North Carolina. The area was rich with history, ghost stories and unexplained phenomenon; all fodder for the vivid imaginings of a young girl. She began “collecting” stories at a young age.

At aged six, C. Evenfall experienced the paranormal firsthand and has been seeking answers ever since.

Her fascination with the unexplainable and her love for old family ghost stories inspired her to write a collection of novellas. Each inspired by the experiences passed down through her family for generations.

C. Evenfall resides on the Carolina Coast with her husband, a self-proclaimed skeptic. She loves him anyway and the two complement each other perfectly.

Book Trailer

Q) What inspired you to write this story?
I have always been interested in the paranormal. I come from a long family line of believers and I had a personal experience as a child. Because of that, I have always loved paranormal fiction and dreamed of writing it one day. Sensitives is inspired by stories I was told as a child by people who I trust and believe. I took several different accounts and combined them into one unique story.

Q) How long did it take you to write?
The development of the series took several months but once the planning stage was over, it took me approximately one month to complete Sensitives.

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
My favorite thing about writing is my ability to visit other times and places, meet and create new people all without leaving my chair.

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
The hardest part about writing sometimes is ending the story. Sometimes I am too wrapped up in it and don’t want it to end. Sometimes I have grown too fond of my characters and I am not ready for them to leave me.

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
I think that I would very much like to be Anne Rice for a day. I would love the opportunity to poke around in her head and find the root of her fascinating imagination.

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
The oldest thing in my fridge at the moment is a bottle of gin I bought last New Years.

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
Readers can expect much more paranormal fiction. Sensitives is the first in a series. The Guardians is second and is available now on Amazon. The Forgotten will be released soon, and it is the third novella in the series and finally, the compilation titled The Wraith of Carter’s Mill which will be available as a paperback edition and will include a fourth novella titled Carter’s Mill.
