Alexandra Turner will do anything to save her twin sister. Even when she’s transported back in time to Regency England. Rescuing her sister and finding her way back to her own time will take all her concentration. Falling in love is not an option.

With the death of his brother, Nicholas Somerville became the ninth Marquess of Oakleigh and must return to England to take his place in society. Part of his responsibility will be to find a wife. It never occurs to him he might actually discover a woman he could love--until he meets Alex on his voyage home.

Can Alex and Nicholas find a way to bridge the gap of time and circumstance? Can they overcome their fears to realize that true love transcends time? Or will a dark secret from Alex's past rear up to separate them forever?

Q) What inspired you to write this story?
I was home with my kids at the time and I remember thinking how I needed a new book to read, but for whatever reason, none of the books I had on my to-be-read list were calling to me. Somehow the idea came into my head that I could write a book with all the elements I wanted. I thought it was a crazy idea, but when I mentioned it to my husband, he was so supportive and convinced I could do it, that I figured I’d give it a shot. Time for Love has a lot of the elements that I always looked for whenever I read the back covers at the bookstore.

Q) How long did it take you to write?
The first time, or the fifth? LOL This question is surprisingly hard to answer. Time for Love is the first book I wrote, so it has gone through quite a large number of rewrites and revisions since I first decided to try my hand at writing a novel. I’d say it took about a year and a half to reach the end—the first time. I then rewrote large parts of the book several times before I was happy with it, so it was several years before it felt complete.

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
Brainstorming. I love coming up with a new story and thinking through all the possibilities.

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
When I get to the middle of the book. For some reason, from about the halfway point to the three quarter mark, I have difficult time writing. That’s when all my doubts come crashing down on me. It takes a few “I suck” emails to my critique partners (who always bolster my spirits) and a few brainstorming sessions to get things going again.

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
First person that comes to mind is Danneel Ackles—because she’s married to Jensen Ackles. (I’m a Supernatural fan.) But then I remember how much I love my husband, so there goes the easy answer. The problem with becoming someone famous is the fame. I’m not a very outgoing person, so being in the spotlight wouldn’t suit me. I’d have to choose someone who is well known but not crazily well known or always recognized. I’d probably choose one of my favorite authors so I could see how their minds work.

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
I have to admit I was a little scared to find out the answer to this one. But it wasn’t so bad. A bottle of minced garlic seems to be the oldest. Thankfully, that stuff apparently lasts forever. (The freezer doesn’t count, right? Because there’s some salmon in there…) We had to replace our refrigerator and we lost all our food during Superstorm Sandy last year, so at least I know nothing’s much older than a year.

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
I have a short story coming out in May 2014 in a romance anthology called Timeless Escapes: A Collection of Summer Stories. The first of the Timeless short story series, Timeless Keepsakes: A Collection of Christmas Stories, just released last month. My Christmas story in the collection is called Granting Her Wish and is a time travel romance. It’s been very well received so far. We plan on publishing two of these anthologies a year, so there’s a lot to look forward to. I’m also working on a follow up to Time for Love, called Chance for Love, about Alex’s sister, Charlotte, and what she went through while Alex searched for her.
